Society: Campaign for Rail - Stand 53 (1st floor balcony)

Welcome to  “Campaign for Rail”.

We are rail users, campaigning for and promoting the development of rail services in the West Midlands region, both passenger and freight.

We work with the decision makers, liaising with rail companies and authorities at local and national level.

We support station and line user groups in our region, to give rail users an effective voice.

We invite you to support us by becoming a member.  You will receive a copy of our newsletter “West Midlands Rail User”, full of news, three times a year.  Membership costs just £10 per year.

Why not become a member of the region’s leading rail campaigning voice.

Society: Coventry Model Engineering Society - Stand 73 (1st floor library)

We're a group of like minded people interested in all things model engineering, specifically model locomotives, both steam and battery powered, traction engines, stationary engines and specialised workshop equipment. The club is also responsible for running the Ryton Pools Miniature Railway at Ryton Pools, near Coventry. The railway runs every Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday from Easter until the end of September.

The club has a great social side, with regular meetings, steam ups and events such as the annual efficiency competition and fish & chip supper. There's a huge pool of knowledge and experience in all things engineering within the club so it's a great way to learn and teach new skills. We also arrange a club stand, portable track and workshop at the locally held Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition each year.

What Is EM?

If you’re interested in improving the look of your models or if you’re contemplating construction for the first time,  The E.M. Gauge Society is here to help you.

If you already model to EM or P4 standards, membership of the Society delivers significant benefits to railway modellers.

Diesel and Electric Modellers United

About DEMU

Diesel and Electric Modellers United (demu) was formed in 1994 as an independent society catering for all modellers of the railways of mainland Britain in the Diesel and Electric era regardless of scale/gauge affiliations or modelling ability.

We aim to promote all aspects of this period by exchanging information and ideas in our quarterly magazine 'UPDate' and our members-only web forum, which feature modelling and prototype articles on a wide range of subjects.
