Railway Services to Leamington Spa Station

Currently there are no planned engineering works that will cause changes to the normal timetable, as at Saturday 21st January 2017.

You can check the Chiltern Railways timetable changes on their Changes Calendar for up to date information.

Please check the Chiltern Railways website when planning your journey for the most up to date information.

The college is within easy walking distance from the station.

Walking Route

The college is within easy walking distance from the station.

Leave the station by the main entrance and turn right. Continue along this road, pass the entrance Morrisons Supermarket on the right and at the roundabout turn right keeping the supermarket car park your right. Pass under the railway bridge and at the next junction carefully cross the junction keeping the railway on your right on to Princes Drive. Cross the river bridge and walk the length of Princes Drive. Turn Right at the mini roundabout under the railway bridge and college grounds are now on your right. The entrance to the college will be found in approximately 200 meters.

 Free Mini Bus Shuttle Service

For 2017 we will be running a mini-bus shuttle service from Leamington Spa Railway Station to the Royal Leamington Spa College free of charge.

The minibus pick up point will be outside the main railway station entrance up the steps on the main road. NOTE the minibus will not be able to enter the station forecourt.

The college is a short 5 minute ride from the station and the service will therefore run continuous using 2 vehicles provided by the college and driven by their staff. It will not run to a timetable and waiting time should be no more that 10 minutes (traffic conditions permitting).

Bus Services

Details of public transport options can be found on the Warwickshire Buses web site. There is a map of bus routes operating around Leamington Spa on the site.

Service X17 passes close to the entrance of the college. Alight at the stop on Princes Drive. Walk under the railway bridge and the entrance to the college is approximately 200 metres on the right.

Service G1 - Leamington & Warwick Gold Service Circular route operates on both days and stops on the Rugby Road a 5 minute walk to the college. Walk down Oswald Road to Warwick Place, turn right towards the roundabout and railway bridge. At the roundabout turn left on Warwick New Road and the college entrance is on the right.

Service X18 and others stop on Warwick Place. Head back towards the roundabout and railway bridge. At the roundabout turn left on Warwick New Road and the college entrance is on the right.

Service 68 and others stop at the Railway Station and therefore we suggest that visitors using public transport might consider alighting at the station and use the free shuttle bus service to reach the college.

This means that it is possible to use bus services from Coventry, Kenilworth, Stratford on Avon and surrounding area to reach the college.

The college has large onsite car parking facilities for over 400 vehicles although not all these spaces may be available over the weekend of the exhibition due to building work taking place on the site.

We have made arrangements for overflow car parking which will be opened as the need arises. We are planning to operate a mini bus shuttle service over the 500 meters between the college and the overflow car park should it be necessary.

Thanks to Warwick District Council for making their Riverside House office car park available to us over the weekend of the exhibition.

There is a separate parking area for Exhibitor vehicles and immediately adjacent to the entrance a large parking facility for disability badge holders which remain unaffected by the building work.

Drivers who are asked to use the overflow car park will be provided with the following directions. Please note that a shuttle bus service will operate between the overflow car park and the exhibition centre.

Free Mini Bus Shuttle Service

This year we will be running a mini-bus shuttle service from Leamington Spa Railway Station to the Royal Leamington Spa College free of charge. The college is a short 5 minute ride from the station and the service will therefore run continuous using 2 vehicles provided by the college and driven by their staff. It will not run to a timetable and waiting time should be no more that 15 minutes (traffic conditions permitting). Driving Routes to the Exhibition

Travel Bulletin - Sunday

The British Heart Foundation Warwick Half Marathon will again be taking place this year on the weekend of our exhibition, taking place on Sunday 4th March 2018.

Consequently there will be a number of road closures that will affect visitors travelling from the Stratford direction or down the M40 from Birmingham on Sunday morning who were planning to drive through Warwick.

The race route map can be found here on the BHF website. It starts at Warwick Racecourse proceeds to St Johns (which is on the direct route from the motorway to the exhibition centre) and then proceeds out of town towards Coventry on the north side of Warwick. Road closures commence at 8am around the race course and 8:30 in most parts of Warwick town centre. Full details of the road closures can be found here. There is likely to be traffic congestion in the centre of town as drivers look for parking because at this time of year there is no parking available on the grass at the race course.

We recommend avoiding the centre of Warwick completely on Sunday morning.

If on the M40 do not leave the motorway at junction 15 (Longbridge), if coming from Stratford or Wellesbourne, at the motorway roundabout ignore the Warwick exit and the motorway southbound carriageway to cross the river, just a few hundred meters. Immediately leave the motorway at the next exit junction 14 the A452. At the end of straight link road take the second exit off the roundabout towards Leamington Spa onto Europa Way. Go straight over the first roundabout, (BRW & Volvo dealers on the right), at the next roundabout take first exit effectively straight on, shortly go straight across the next roundabout (2nd exit). Go under the railway bridge and at the traffic lights go straight ahead onto Princes Drive. The railway should be on your right hand side. At the T junction mini roundabout, turn right, the college is on the right so at the traffic island fork right to the car park entrance.

The exhibition venue at the Royal Leamington Spa College on Warwick New Road, CV32 5JE is reached easily from all main driving routes.

At this point in time we are not aware of any road works that may impact on journeys to the venue. Details will appear here if we are able to provide warning in advance of any planned disruption.

You can get generate personalised directions for your journey using Google Maps using the following link

If you are planning to travel to the exhibition by train and plan to use the free shuttle bus then please be aware that the new vehicles we are using are not fitted with a wheel chair lift. Visitors with severe mobility disablement should contact us in advance with their travel plans and needs and we will make every effort to accommodate your requirements. Please e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. giving no less that 3 days notice.

Parking for blue badge holders will be available immediate opposite the main entrance to the exhibition with approximately 50 spaces available.

All areas of the college buildings in use during the exhibition are accessible with level access via ramps or lift except for the Sports Hall.

It will be necessary to use an external route to gain access to the Sports Hall which will be sign-posted and assistance will be available when required.

Assistance dogs welcome.

The route to the sports hall is shown on the College site plan which can be downloaded here. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

Please ask any steward for assistance required.
